Our Asia Travels is a tour operator based in Wellington, New Zealand specialising in small group tours to Asian destinations. 

 

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Your completion of an Our Asia Travels Trip Registration Form is your confirmation of your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

 

PAYING FOR YOUR TRIP

• Prices are outlined at the top of the destination page.

• A single supplement is available as outlined on the destination page.

• To confirm your booking, each person is required to pay a non-refundable deposit of NZ$2000.

• All deposit funds are held in a separate bank account.

• Your deposit enables confirmation of the best rates for accommodation and secures domestic trip support.

• If minimum tour numbers are not met (6-8 travellers per trip), deposits will be refunded in full.

• The final balance payment is required 90 days before each trip commencement date.

 

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY

• 90 days before departure date - Full refund of tour fee (if paid), less any non-refundable deposit and any additional tour fees / deposits paid*.​
• Between 50 and 89 days before departure date - 50% refund of tour fee, less your non-refundable deposit and any additional tour fees / deposits paid*.
• 49 days or less before departure date - 100% cancellation charge (at discretion).

* Please be aware that most travel bookings are non-refundable and any cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges may be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Where any liability is incurred for any booking which you cancel, you agree that you are responsible for the amount of that fee or charge.

 

PRICES AND INCLUSIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

• Best endeavours are made to provide accurate pricing, but prices are subject to an increase prior to the time you make full payment based on the exchange rate. 

• All pricing is correct at the time of quotation. 

• From time to time, changes are needed to be made to the suggested itineraries due to scheduling requirements and accommodation availability. All endeavours are made to limit any changes.  

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

• For your protection, you are required to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen eventualities.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY WAIVER

• Our Asia Travels will always do our best to ensure that your travel arrangements are satisfactory, however, by confirming your booking you confirm and certify that:

  • In the event of any 'Act of God' conditions causing cancellation of any trip element, you understand and agree that some elements of the itinerary may not be refundable

  • You are in an appropriate physical condition to participate, given the known parameters of the trip (such as the length, time and environmental context)

  • You have taken medical advice on any pre-existing medical conditions, and confirm that it is medically safe for you to participate 

  • You acknowledge that there are known risks involved in travelling. You fully realise the risks of participating, and fully assume the risks associated with your participation and your wellbeing and safety during and after the trip.

  • You understand and acknowledge that Our Asia Travels provides no warranties, regarding your wellbeing and safety.

  • You understand and agree that situations may arise during the trip, which may be beyond the immediate control of Our Asia Travels.

  • You will participate in the trip in a manner that does not endanger either you or others

  • You agree that to the extent permissible by law, all parties associated with Our Asia Travels, have no liability to you whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, (including, but not limited to injury or death) sustained by you during the trip.

  • You are aware that no one can guarantee your safety while travelling and you acknowledge you are required to have comprehensive travel insurance, which provides coverage for illnesses or injuries you sustain or experience while travelling

  • You are aware that medical facilities while travelling may not be of the quality of medical facilities you experience at home and access to evacuation and/or suitable medical supplies and support may not be as readily available as you are accustomed to.

  • You are voluntarily participating in this trip, and have voluntarily purchased this trip with the full understanding of these risks.

  • You hereby assume and agree to accept any and all risks to your safety and security during the course of your trip, and you hereby release Our Asia Travels from any claims that may arise during the course of your participation in the trip.

 

DISCLAIMER

• Our Asia Travels acts solely as a facilitator of travel experiences and does not own or operate any of the transportation, accommodation, or activity providers used during any tours it facilitates. While every effort is made to ensure the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our guests, Our Asia Travels cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to changes made by third-party service providers, weather events, political disruptions, or health-related incidents.

• Itineraries are subject to change at any time due to local conditions or operational requirements. We reserve the right to alter or substitute activities, accommodations, or transportation where necessary, always with the aim of maintaining the quality and intent of the overall experience.

• Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet any visa, vaccination, or health requirements for travel. It is required that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical cover, trip cancellation, and personal liability.

• By booking a tour with Our Asia Travels, participants acknowledge and accept these conditions as part of the terms of travel.
